Dr. Carolyn Norton practiced with Konikoff Dentistry from 2015 to 2021 in the Virginia Beach-Hampton Roads area. She had a successful, thriving practice, but her heart was always in sunny Florida. This brilliant woman has finally relocated to Tampa and created Chrysalis Cosmetic & Restorative Dentistry where she will continue doing what she loves- practicing the art of dentistry, and treating her patients with an outstanding and unmatched level of care.
Dr. Norton is from Stuart, FL. She earned her B.S. in neuroscience from the University of Miami and her D.M.D. from the University of Florida. She completed a general practice residency at the University of Chicago. Dr. Norton enjoys cosmetic and implant dentistry, and also provides a wide range of services including crowns, veneers, same-day CEREC dentistry, Invisalign, in-office whitening, cleanings, and fillings.

Dr. Norton has a bernedoodle named Bergie who is a champion cuddler. Dr. Norton’s hobbies include indoor cycling, reading, and anything creative she can get her hands on. She has a passion for art and food, and loves spending time with friends and family. Just in case you were wondering, Bergie is up-to-date on her dental cleanings and has no cavities.
Dr. Norton was a contributing editor for the American Student Dental Association from 2012-14 when she began Pulp Fiction, and it grew from there, fusing her love for dentistry, reading, writing, and dental puns. Her favorite authors include John Irving and Abraham Verghese. She appreciates lengthy novels with complex plots, tea, and word choice.
